On Friday, August 22, 2025, the College of Population Studies, Chulalongkorn University, organized the Orientation for New Students, Academic Year 2025, at Meeting Room 301, Visid Prachuabmoh Building, and Rooms 810 & 812, Prajadhipok–Rambhai Barni Building. The event was attended by a total of 40 participants, including faculty members, staff, new students, current students, and alumni.

The event began with a warm welcome address by the Dean (Asst.Prof.Rukchanok Karcharnubarn, Ph.D.), followed by the Vice Dean's (Assoc.Prof.Pataporn Sukontamarn, Ph.D., and Dr.Nopphawan Photphisutthiphong, Ph.D.) introduction to the College and presentation of the faculty members. After that, the Dean presented souvenirs to the new students and took group photos together.

The program continued with course-specific activities divided into separate rooms for the M.A. Program in Population Policy and Human Development (International Program) and the M.A. Program and Ph.D. Program in Demography.

Within each program, faculty members provided detailed course introductions and teaching methodologies, sharing valuable study tips and insights. They thoroughly explained student rights and responsibilities, appropriate behavioral guidelines, important academic ethics principles, and the various learning support systems that the College and the University have prepared for students' success.

Following the course introductions, students participated in preparation sessions for becoming College students and engaged in the senior-junior mentoring activity "How to Study Successfully," where the College invited alumni to share their valuable experiences and insights. The event concluded with a Campus Tour, allowing new students to explore the university atmosphere and familiarize themselves with their new academic environment.

เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 22 สิงหาคม 2568 วิทยาลัยประชากรศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ได้จัดโครงการปฐมนิเทศและกิจกรรมหลักสูตรพบนิสิตใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568  ณ ห้องประชุม 301 อาคารวิศิษฐ์ ประจวบเหมาะ ชั้น 3  และห้อง 810 และ ห้อง 812 อาคารประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี ชั้น 8  โดยมีคณาจารย์ บุคลากร นิสิตใหม่ นิสิตปัจจุบัน และนิสิตเก่า จำนวน 40 คนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม

พิธีเปิดของโครงการปฐมนิเทศในปีนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.รักชนก  คชานุบาล (คณบดี) มากล่าวต้อนรับนิสิตใหม่อย่างอบอุ่น ตามด้วยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปัทพร  สุคนธมาน และอาจารย์ ดร.นพวรรณ  พจน์พิศุทธิพงศ์ (รองคณบดี) มาแนะนำภาพรวมของวิทยาลัยฯ คณาจารย์ และบุคลากร พร้อมมอบของที่ระลึกให้แก่นิสิตใหม่ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 และปิดท้ายช่วงพิธีการด้วยการถ่ายภาพหมู่ร่วมกันระหว่างนิสิต คณาจารย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่

จากนั้นนิสิตใหม่จึงแยกย้ายไปเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมตามหลักสูตร ได้แก่ หลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชานโยบายประชากรกับการพัฒนามนุษย์ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ)  ณ ห้อง 812 อาคารประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี ชั้น 8   และหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต และศิลปศาสตรดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาประชากรศาสตร์ ณ ห้อง 810 อาคารประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี ชั้น 8 

คณาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรได้แนะนำรายละเอียดของหลักสูตรและการเรียนการสอน พร้อมทั้งแบ่งปันเคล็ดลับการเรียนที่มีประโยชน์ นอกจากนี้ยังได้อธิบายเรื่องสิทธิและหน้าที่ของนิสิต แนวทางการปฏิบัติตัวที่เหมาะสม จรรยาบรรณทางวิชาการที่สำคัญ รวมถึงระบบสนับสนุนการเรียนรู้ต่างๆ ที่วิทยาลัยฯ และมหาวิทยาลัย จัดเตรียมไว้ให้

ภายหลังจากกิจกรรมแนะนำหลักสูตร ได้มีกิจกรรมการเตรียมความพร้อมเพื่อเป็นนิสิตของวิทยาลัยฯ และกิจกรรมพี่สอนน้อง "เรียนอย่างไรให้ประสบความสำเร็จ" ซึ่งวิทยาลัยฯ ได้เชิญนิสิตเก่ามาร่วมแบ่งปันประสบการณ์อันมีค่า และปิดท้ายด้วยกิจกรรม Campus Tour เพื่อให้นิสิตใหม่ได้ชมบรรยากาศและทำความคุ้นเคยกับสภาพแวดล้อมของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย

วิทยาลัยประชากรศาสตร์ขอต้อนรับนิสิตใหม่ทุกคน และขอให้ทุกคนมีความสุขกับการเรียนรู้ในเส้นทางใหม่นี้
